Nemat Frem shared his vision of ‘Lebanon, land of man,’ emphasising the need for restructuring based on peace and justice. He stressed the importance of integrating citizens' decisions and respecting them at the local, regional and national levels in order to build the Lebanon of tomorrow.

« Le Liban : Identité et métamorphose régionale »
Minister of Culture Ghassan Salamé addressed a full house during his lecture titled “Lebanon: Identity and Regional Metamorphosis”. Salamé explored Middle East power rivalries, and reflected on Lebanon’s identity, diversity, and patriotic renewal.

The Cathedral hosted internationally renowned artist Tania Kassis on March 24, for a unique concert celebrating the Annunciation, Lebanon's national Islamic-Christian holiday.
This concert marked the conclusion of the events organized by the Cathedral to mark the 65th anniversary of its founding, while also kicking off the activities for the 2025-2026 year, which are dedicated to "Peace and Justice."

At the souvenir of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and the 50th anniversary of the start of the Lebanese Civil War, Ziad Baroud discussed with the hundred of the Cathedral's guests, the central question of "Peace and Justice" in Lebanon. He covered the link between the duty of remembrance and peace, and answered the numerous questions of the audience, all concerned about a hopeful future for Lebanon.

The concert by the Lebanese National Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by composer Ms Hiba Kawas, held on 26 April at the Cathedral, was a huge success. This exceptional moment owes much to the mastery of conductor Ms. Daiana Gofman, who came especially for the event, as well as to the virtuosity of the musicians. The large audience was captivated—a memorable evening crowned by a long ovation.

In 1959, Patriarch Agagianian proudly inaugurated the Cathedral with grand celebrations, attended by the President of the Republic, General Fouad Chehab, along with prominent civil and religious leaders. To commemorate its 65 years of profound history in Beirut and its surrounding communities, various activities were held in April 2024. These included an artistic contest, concerts, and a roundtable discussion all gravitating around the Cathedral's presence and influence.

To celebrate its 65th anniversary, the Cathedral initiated an Artistic Contest inviting participants to express, through any art medium, an aspect of the Cathedral's essence. Over 100 participants from across Lebanon, spanning various age groups, created captivating paintings, drawings, engravings, and models. Three outstanding works were awarded prizes, chosen by a distinguished jury.
